    One, Two , Three SPF...

All I can say is, the story is about the New York Yankees (sort of).  And it can be found in the (shudder) New York Post

Bottom line - At Yankee Stadium, the security guards are confiscating sunscreen.  Yes sunscreen.  Why, pray tell?  According to team officials, to protect the Stadium from terrorism.  Huh? What, Dr. Evil has a plan to build a giant tanning booth around the stadium?

Yes, they are afraid that one of those tubes of sunblock may not be as it seems.  So therefore, if you want to see the Yankees get burned by a team that has never had a winning season, then you'll have to burn right along with them.  Oh yeah, the Stadium does sell 1-ounce bottles of Arizona Sun SPF 15 for $5 - a huge markup that makes its beer seem cheap.  BTW, one ounce of lotion will cover your face and maybe one arm in one application.  And you have to re-apply every two hours or so.  Also an SPF of 15 works for some, but when you're fair skinned, it's 30 or stay home.  Can you say Ka-Ching?

    Words of advice:
    1.  Bringing out the specter of terrorism when you're actually trying to bilk your fans of even more money is really classy  And by that I mean Billy Martin face down drunk in a strip club kind of classy.
    2.  The team leading your division has a total payroll that is a fraction of what you're paying A-Rod.   Doesn't seem like money can't buy everything?
    3.  The folks in Tampa don't have to worry about bringing sunscreen because they play indoors.  Granted, it's a crappy venue, but at least it's covered.

But it looked like a UFO...

It gets hot out here during the summer.  So most things you really want to do outside generally have to wait until the night time.  there's usually only one small problem - no light.  But, the first step of being able to play Disc, or "Frisbee" Golf at night has been taken with the ultimate glowing Frisbee.  Powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery, 4 high-intensity LEDs glow bright enough to be seen for 2 miles.  And the LED's and battery only add 10 grams to the weight.  And yes, it is regulation size, and only around twenty bucks.  Now if we can only get the hole to glow then life would be sweet indeed.
